THIS EXPLANATION IS 200 YEARS OLD. Happy birthday. BIRTHDAYS ARE NOT TESTS. Old ideas can be excellent. New ones can be rubbish. What does it explain? How does it stand up to criticism?

Age tells us how long an idea has been around. To judge it, ask about the problem it addresses, what it explains, and the objections it can answer. A new idea needs the same scrutiny.

The PDF is US Letter with generous margins. Print at 100% / Actual size; the SVG can be scaled for other paper sizes. Paper, templates and print instructions.

Black lettering and fine rules only. The SVG has a transparent ground; the PDFs leave the paper unpainted. Background graphics are not needed. Turn browser headers off.
